1. Introduction

Bonify Ltd. d/b/a AION Safe (“AION,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses Cookies and similar tracking technologies on aionsafe.com (the “Site”) to store and retrieve information on and from your browser when you visit our Site. This Cookies Policy explains how we use Cookies and the choices you have. This Cookies Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies and Why Do We Use Them?

2.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone (“Device”) when you visit our Site. We also use related technologies - pixels, tags, SDKs, and local storage - that work similarly to Cookies and are also covered by this policy. Cookies collect information relating to your use of our Site, information about your Device, such as IP address and browser type, demographic data, and, if you reached the Site through a third-party site, which third-party site directed you to our Site.

2.2 When you re-visit our Site, Cookies allow our Site to recognize you, remember your preferences, and tailor your use of the Site. Cookies also enable us (i) to relate your use of the Site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided to the Site, and (ii) to track your use of the Site. Cookies may be used to enable certain functions of the Site, to provide analytics, to enable advertisement delivery, including behavioral advertising, and to allow us to store your login information and your personal preferences for the Site. Cookies also provide us with important usage data, e.g., how often you visit, where you go at the Site, and what you do there. In sum, information provided by Cookies helps us to provide you with a better user experience.

2.3 Cookies are referred to as either “session” or “persistent” Cookies, depending on how long they are used:

  • Session Cookies last only for the duration of your online session and disappear from your Device when you close your browser. Session Cookies are not stored on the hard drive of your Device.
  • Persistent Cookies are stored on the hard drive of your Device after the browser has been closed and last until you delete them or they reach their expiration date. Persistent Cookies are activated each time you visit the site where the Cookie was generated.

3. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?

The types of Cookies used on our Site fall into one of three categories, as follows:

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly Necessary Cookies are required for the Site to function: maintaining your session as you move through the quote flow, and remembering the choice you make in our cookie banner. These cannot be switched off, and don’t require consent.

3.2 Functional Cookies

Functional Cookies are used to recognize you when you return to our Site and to save your progress within it. Disabling these may mean that you will be required to re-enter information on each visit to our Site.

3.3 Analytical Cookies

Analytical Cookies are used to monitor the performance of our Site - for example, to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our Site when they are using it. We use Google Tag and Google Analytics for this purpose.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some Cookies on our Site are placed by third parties (Google Tag and Google Analytics, described in Section 3.3 above), and not by AION directly. The privacy and Cookies practices of Google are governed by Google’s own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

5. How May I Manage or Disable Cookies?

There are a number of ways for you to manage or disable Cookies:

5.1 Cookies notice

Analytical Cookies are on by default, and a notice tells you so when you first visit aionsafe.com. You can decline them in the notice, or at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the Site footer. If you don’t make a choice, the notice closes after a few seconds and Analytical Cookies stay on.

5.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt you out of the sale/sharing of your personal information via Analytical Cookies, without your needing to set anything manually on our Site.

5.3 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You may also opt out directly via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the Site footer, or as described in our Privacy Policy.

5.4 Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete Cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary Cookies may prevent parts of the quote flow (like moving between steps) from working.

5.5 Do Not Track (DNT) signals

Most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting, but there’s no common industry standard for how sites must respond to it. We currently do not respond to browser DNT signals differently from GPC. We do honor GPC as described above.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy as our use of Cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
