1. What AION Is, and Isn’t

AION is an independent comparison technology platform and digital marketplace. We help you compare watch and jewelry insurance options from third-party, licensed insurers. AION is not an insurance company, carrier, or broker, and we do not underwrite, issue, or administer insurance policies. Any policy you activate is a contract between you and the insurer you choose, governed by that insurer’s own terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. How We’re Compensated

We may receive a referral fee, commission, or other compensation from insurers when you obtain a quote or activate a policy through our platform. This does not affect the price you pay, and comparing options through AION is always free. Full details are available in our Compensation Disclosure.

4. No Insurance or Financial Advice

Information on our platform, including quotes, comparisons, and educational content, is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute insurance, legal, or financial advice. We don’t guarantee that any particular policy is suitable for your specific circumstances, you are responsible for reviewing policy terms and deciding what coverage is right for you.

5. Third-Party Insurers

AION is not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing, underwriting decisions, or claims handling of any third-party insurer. Any dispute regarding a policy, premium, or claim should be directed to the insurer that issued the policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information when requesting a quote.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse content or data from the Service without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying technology, is owned by AION or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any quote will remain available or accurate at the time you decide to purchase.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AION will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including any actions taken or not taken by a third-party insurer.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which AION is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable insurance regulations in your jurisdiction.
